Dr. Sunil Anandatheertha
Sunil Anandatheertha from Bengaluru holds a PhD in Materials Science and Aerospace Engineering from the UK. He is deeply intrigued by Sanaatana Dharmic philosophies and their influence on the people of ancient Bharath as well as present-day Bharath and India. Motivated by the vast and unfathomable depth of Sanaatana Dharma and its various philosophical branches and sub-branches, he actively contributes to its preservation, protection, and promotion through poetry, articles, and prose in Kannada, Samskritam, and English.
Teaching mathematics and engineering is one of his passions. He also plays Carnatic classical improvisations on the Saraswati Veena and the Saraswati Guitar Veena, the latter being an instrument of his own creation.
Through his work, he hopes to rekindle the philosophical brilliance for which Jammu and Kashmir was once renowned. He is deeply interested in the impact of Vaishnavism, Shaivism, and Shaktism, as well as their interplay, on the temporal Dharmic trajectory of Bharat at large.
